About Claire

Hi, I’m Claire, and I believe that every dog training journey should be a joyful adventure. My passion for creating a fun, effective, and kind approach to training is what led me to found Adventure Canine in 2025.

Dogs have always been an integral part of my life – competing in dog sports, training family pets, working a therapy dog, regular dog-sitting and my previous business creating dog-friendly walking guides.

My professional journey as a dog trainer began in 2021, and since then, I’ve had the privilege of working with countless puppies, dogs and their owners. I’ve also mentored new dog trainers, helping them develop the skills they need to succeed. This experience has only strengthened my commitment to positive, science-led training that builds a lasting bond between you and your dog.

I am an Accredited Trainer via Marka Dog Training Academy, have a CPD-Accredited Canine First Aid qualification, am an accredited Odour Recognition Test Host and Assessor for the National Nosework Association, and am an Approved Organiser for Nosework Games.

When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me on my own adventures – on a long countryside walk, relaxing at a dog-friendly pub, or on a scent quest with my beloved standard poodle..
